It is one of the only few original pubs left and changing it into a "sports bar" would kill it .

Every year we meet up here on Xmas eve for a few pints, to get away from the General night scene, and to have pint and a catch up in a traditional pub with friendly faces. The parity is dead opposite, which is a sports bar, and The Bank/Vault was also a sports bar which not many people went in. I don't know who has bought the 'Tiv Tav' but I'm not sure they have done their research properly. If it changes to a sports bar I for one will never set foot in there ever again.

Like we need another sports bar its nice to be able to sit in a pub and here each other talk and interact. Gd pub great staff and gd beer. Leave it how it is last real pub specially for lot of the old gents theres a bookies few doors up dnt need a sport bar ty
