What a heartless and rediculous thing to do to this young family and their old pup. I'm pretty sure that if this old dog were viscous there would have been records of it over the last 12 years. Arnprior needs to do better than this:-(

It's about time to end the breed specific nonsense and burocratic heartless, indiscriminate mindless rhetoric. It's a 12 year old dog who never hurt any one and doesn't have much longer any way. What mindless twit is getting satisfaction or a promotion from this act of cruelty? Go get a conscience and a heart.

Dogs are family. No government or person of authority should have the right to take a beloved family member away when they have done nothing wrong, other than due to the fact they are a certain breed. This dog along with so many others are so misunderstood. The pitbull was originally called a nanny dog. They take care of their family and are just as loyal and loving as any other breed out there. Taking a family pet when no wrong has been committed is absolutely disgusting and wrong.

Absolutely do not put this dog down. The breed is not a problem. Don't punish everybody over a few bad people. Let this family keep their dog for the love of god!!

Leave this beautiful 'baby' alone!! She's got a family that loves her & who she loves too! 12 years & never done anything to have any bylaw officer near her! Leave her alone!

A dog, like a human, acts the way it is raised. Regardless of its breed. Please show compassion to Tasha and her family and allow her to live her remaining days with the only family she has ever known. Do not punish her for the deeds of humans who have taken other dogs of this breed and trained them to be violent.

This is horribly cruel for the children, the parents and the dog. This dog was theirs before this ban came out. Why break so many hearts and the thought of sending ny animal to quebec where puppy and kitten mills abound it just not right. Let this family live in peace for the years that this beloved pet has left. Many countries have taken pit bulls off the dangerous dog list as they no longer rank among the top ten for aggression. The enforcement services of all kinds are using pit bulls from pounds as PTSD Assistance dogs and for sniffing out drugs and food at airports and ports of call across the world. Please don't break these childrens hearts and return Tasha to them to the home and people she knows and where she belongs.

Rediculous that people are so uneducated about these breeds and the dogs involved. The dog has done nothing wrong and stereotypical thinking is their only cause.

Please reconsider enforcing this law. I'm sure you know as well as I do that the real problem is with the owners, not the dogs.
