We, the undersigned, think there is an inherent conflict of interest in locating Stars and Stripes in the same facility as U.S. Department of Defense controlled media and public affairs personnel. We oppose any move that jeopardizes the ability of Stars and Stripes to report independently, free of outside influence and control. Stars and Stripes must remain free to report on military topics of interest and importance to the military community.
