very short sighted, clubs will not be able to resource this kind of change nor will they be able to provide the space it needs, rugby league is not just about the sport it is also about learning to work as part of a team from an early age and understanding what your role is in that team, it is also about helping our young ones to become a well grounded part of the community they are in how can this be done if you are downsizing teams. This is also going to force clubs into having super teams at a very young age, this is an absolute nonsense and will harm the development of this sport.

I think that the Rfl dont understand what impact this proposal would do to the game and have lost touch with Rugby League .

Concensus of the parents of the boys and girls playing at our club is "Leave it alone. Our children love it the way it is." If we want to play tag we'll go to play union!

The more children that participate at this age, the better. Do not restrict this by effectively reducing the numbers that can play because of the availability of coaches.

Nobody should be resistant to change however change should be for the better. The proposed format requires a lot more coaches who simply aren't there. Rather than increase participation it would decrease ie same number of teams but less players!

Agree with all the comments, it's great as it is and the kids love it with plenty of playing time, would this happen 4v4 I don't think so and less players will progress through

Dont try and fix what is not broken. You will have players leaving U7's and ossible going to other sports ie football. We are trying to increase numbers not lose them to the wrong shape ball.
