The MAJORITY enjoy and benefit from the format exactly the way it is , I unerstand the theory behind the changes but why change a system that produces masses of talent every year . The only reason the Australians are better is because they have lots more people playing the game so have lots more talent to choose from . Stick to the format and keep spreading the game .

Imposing change on RL volunteers will only drive the core RL away from the game. It's coach education the RFL should focus on to drive up standards of play within our game.

Retention rates were the second highest at under 8s so why are the messing, 12 to 18s is where the issue is they should be looking there

I have 2 boys that both play and enjoy the contact and how it is coached and played. Don't mess with a format that works!!

this would drive kids away. we have record participation levels at u7s last season in the north west. none of those kids or parents seemed put off by playing full contract 9 a side. also leave the play the ball in!! it is a fundemental skill in rugby league and needs to be mastered at an early age

Well said if it's not broke don't try to fix it or how about actually asking the children/parents their opinions-bit random but just may count for something.

I have coached children for 20+ years and have never seen the game in such a good position there are more children involved better skills in better conditions and must important the children are developing and enjoying it. Please leave alone

Leave well alone!! The number of kids getting involved in the sport will drop off if 4 v 4 as they will spend too long on the sidelines and it will impair their development!!
