Lots of people get so much pleasure from walking to the pool and watching the breeding swans, ducks, heron and geese. It would be devastating to so many to loose this lovely spot.

There are sufficient brownfield sites available in Macclesfield that it is quite unnecessary to use any greenbelt land. These fields provide a beautiful and vital space for recreation and support the wildlife of the area.

There is no need to take any greenbelt land for development as there are sufficient brownfield sites available in the town

It is quite apparent that there is no requirement to take any of the green belt to provide housing. The existing footprint of the Kings School site would provide for the 250 houses suggested. The sale of the green belt land for development is purely to fund Kings activities in their aim to become a single site school. They are not at all concerned about the destruction of our green belt land and willn probably look to a greenbelt site to develop their new facilities

This greenbelt contributes to macclesfield's unique character. The road network will not cope with the additional proposed houses

There are so many viable housing sites in Macclesfield. Leave the green belt alone, it's so amazing!

The centre of the town is dying, we need to build social housing there. We do not need to build on green belt land when Astra Zeneca moves there will be surplus housing.

There is no good planning reason to remove this land from the greenbelt . Preserve the greenbelt on the edge in Macclesfield as it is an essential part of the character of the town.

Leave it alone, there are enough new housing estates in the area already, so not needed
