There are many brownfield eyesores in Macclesfield that should be developed be fore any more greenfield sites are exploited

This application should be refused due to negative impact on local wildlife and a amenity used by large number of local people who wish to walk dogs and take toddlrs to see local wildlife ,swans etc in particular need to be protected

I do not believe that there are any demonstrable exceptional circumstances why there should be any green belt changes to the land surrounding the site of the present Kings School site on Fence Avenue.

The Local Plan omits the fact that at the northern boundary of this site there is a Nature Conservation Priority Area, where there are active badger setts. Moreover, there are active badger setts within the proposed development site, again unmentioned. The passing reference to the Macclesfield Canal Consevation Area (MCCA) being 'parallel to the eastern boundary of the site' ignores the fact that the southern boundary lies entirely within it, and it is an area of enhanced status, being Character Area 5 of the MCCA, where the views over these fields is specifically highlighted.

Green belts were created specifically to prevent this sort of development

In view of the many available brownfield sites this cannot be justified.

it would be desacration tospoil what is essentional Macclesfield .it is so important to maintain the views of hills anddales .It is Macclesfields soul. There are enough brownfield sites to meet Macclesfields need for housing .

The proposal goes against Government Policy on Greenbelt. The area is in 2 conservation areas. There is more than enough Brownfield sites in Macclesfield, which need clearing up for the benefit of the town. Kings school have more than enough land to sell at their Sports facilities next next to Prestbury. Leave LEFA alone.

There is no need for such intense housing especially when brown field sites are being overlooked and green sites are being destroyed.

There are enough brownfield sites for the required housing units without using this green belt land.
