Leave It Alone

You can't change the past. Leave the Confederate statues where they are. Some other memorials, or statues, are offensive to me but no one is taking them down.

Please leave the statues alone. History is precious, good or bad.

This is a beautiful sculpture and a part of our history. Rewriting history never works and dooms the future that is ignorant or the past.

Please leave our history intact. The women who scraped and scrimped to honor the fathers, brothers, and husbands should be respected by leaving the monument in place.

Please do not remove this historical monument.

This is a memorial to brave men who fought for their homeland. It should be allowed to stay in place.

Please reconsider---the statue is beautiful; consider adding another statue with more history of the war between the states; this might satisfy the group wanting to remove statue.
