A Learning4Life (L4L) supporter recognizes the value that a certified school librarian and a quality school library program bring to a school community. Educators, school administrators, parents, and students all have a part in making their school library program the type of program that touches the school community at many levels. Teachers plan and deliver instruction collaboratively with their school librarian. School administrators view their school librarian as a curriculum leader. Parents recognize the school librarian as another one of their child's educators. Students value the school library as a resource for navigating projects, pleasure reading, and personal interests.

Please email your local school board representative today to tell them why your library program must remain a priority. We need to keep this momentum moving forward.

Post this link on your Facebook page today and email your local representative to demand they protect these positions. We need to keep this pressure on until our librarians are fully supported.

Keep them funded. A school without a librarian is just an empty room full of dust.
My kids love the library. It is the heart of their school and they would be so lost without their librarian helping them find books they actually want to read.
Schools need libraries. This shouldnt even be a debate.
The library is the only place my son feels comfortable doing his research projects. Please keep it open.
Librarians are basically teachers for everything. Why would you cut funding for the most important resource in the building? Makes zero sense.

Our school librarian goes above and beyond every single day. She teaches the kids how to think critically and how to use technology safely. STOP CUTTING PROGRAMS!
