PA House Bill 1177 PN 1457 PA State Representative Fabrizio has introduced, along with 39 co-sponsors, legislation mandating reimbursement for licensed clinical social workers as independent mental health providers. HB 1177 has been assigned to the insurance committee. Now we need social workers and social work students to reach out to your local Representatives and ask that they support HB 1177. We need to get the bill out of committee and to the floor for a House vote. This will only happen if there is enough political pressure from our state's constituents.
