I really never expected this to snowball into such a massive thing and honestly my phone has been buzzing non-stop with notifications since I woke up. It feels like everyone is finally realizing how ridiculous this fee hike is and I just hope the board is actually paying attention to this wildfire we started together.

LCPS should be ashamed. There is no justification up on for such a price. You saved money on limited infrastructure use during COVID, so the right thing and offer a fair parking price.
MY SON NEEDS TO DRIVE TO SCHOOL BECAUSE OF HIS JOB. HOW IS HE SUPPOSED TO AFFORD THIS ON TOP OF GAS MONEY AND EVERYTHING ELSE???
Just another way for the county to grab cash. Parking passes should cover the sticker cost not fund the whole budget.
This is ridiculous. 200 dollars is a car payment or insurance for some of these kids. Do better.
Seriously? A 700 percent increase is just greedy. I hope they rethink this because it is not right.

The schools are already paid for by tax payers. Why are they even charging students to park? I can see the cost to manage the parking program and produce the parking sticker, but this is an additional duty for existing staff.
