The council finally reversed their decision and Longbarn Primary School will remain open. The weight of these last few months is heavy, but knowing the school is safe makes the exhaustion feel worth it. We need to stay watchful to ensure they keep their word.

The scale of this response is overwhelming and honestly it shows how much this school means to our community. I am exhausted by this fight but seeing this level of support keeps me moving forward.

This school has been there for generations. Cant believe they would even consider getting rid of it.
Total incompetence by the council again. Sort it out.

My kids go here and we love the staff. Dont shut it down it is the heart of the community.
Ridiculous decision. Where are all the kids supposed to go?? Think about the families for once.
