Please don't close these schools, just let more kids in. Stop forcing them to the French school and filling their classroom with redicilous amounts of kids.

There are already 5 families on my street in VSLL (Area 57) that send their
kids to FRENCH school, even though they have the privilege of sending them
to ENGLISH school... I do not want to join them... I want my kids to REMAIN
in the English system... please keep Area 57 at PETES !

La adaptación es fundamental para los niños y estos ya están adaptados, el cambiarlos no les traeria ningun beneficio ni a ellos ni a sus padres.

My daughter was at Petes a few years ago and then rezoned to the new school in St.Lazarre. Just build another damn school in Vaudreuil !
That's what should have happened years ago.

Can't believe that the province is removing education of one of the two official languages.

I built my house to be close to the school. No way is it even remotely possible for me to get my kids to Hudson and stay employed as my wife and I both start T 8 a.m. Downtown. Sorry, LBPSB, But my tax dollars may be going elsewhere.

So many unhappy families due to poorly thought out school closings & re-zoning. Where I live in Ile-Perrot (Zone 51) we have 2 local schools & we can no longer attend either of them. Every other zone in our area has the choice of 2 local schools, Wouldn't it be make more sense & be more equitable to give all zones in my area at least 1 on-island choice? Instead we are being re-zoned off-island & out of our communities. I am behind you 100%

Absolutely unacceptable.... I hope I do not regret sending my kids to English school over the French school system. Being born and raised in Montreal my wife and I have both had our Education been apart of the English school system since kindergarten when it was called Lakeshore School Board, as a kid at the time it was the best system to be in and the schools were great. My parents never had to worry about issues such as MSC..... it sucks that I am faced with the decision of transferring my kids over to the FRENCH system as it is more convenient and I do not have a choice as I need to work certain hours to put food on the table and leaving my job to find another because of MSC is not an option... I hope LBPSB and our local MNA hear our story and note that this is not just a political decision but one that effects many families.

This is the government's way of shoving down people's throat the learning of frwnch language-driving school boards towards the edge forcing them to close english schools. This will still go a long way. Kids and families are suffering and they simply ignore that.
