I moved out of zone 58 and into zone 57 because being zoned for a school in Hudson was just not an option for me and my family. To be this much closer to PETES (2,4 km) and now be told we have to go even further away to the school in Hudson is absolutely ridiculous. If there is not some change to this decision, our only choice may be to send our children to the French board.

You cannot expect parents to make the drive in traffic everyday and get their kids on time...

I am in the zone , but I am affected due to the fact the my son will be loosing most of his close friends that he has been with since kindergarten,. All the kids that need to be rezoned,will have a tremendous amount of anxiety and stress. The parents and the kids will have to start all over again and that is not fair. You need to think of the impact that this will have on all parties involved .

We chose and purchased our second home in vaudreuil based on the zoning for PETES school for our 3 children. Now to be told that we are being "re-zoned" for another school that is 20 mins away when we live 2 mins from PETES?? This will result in our children having to spend almost 13hrs of the day (7am-6pm) in school and daycare due to new school hours and traveling times.

I so hope that an alternative is found. We are in zone 58 and were rezoned to Mount Pleasant at the last MSC. We escalated our case, we went to the media, and unfortunately the board refused to hear our pleas. We've since switched our children to the French board, as this was the only viable option for our family. I hope that the board listens to the many voices this time around and realizes that not only are they affecting hundreds of families, but they're also losing students to the French board in a growing area where the opposite should be happening.

It's inconceivable to ask kids to go to a school 17 km away when there is one 1.6km from their home!!
