Dear Vice Chancellor, I believe that Loughborough University uses too much paper. Please: 1) Enable and encourage double-sided printing from all University-owned printers. 2) Find an alternative to the printed divider sheets that come out of printers in the library and other printers not recently replaced by IT services. 3) Reduce printing of handouts for lectures, meetings and events. 4) Provide recycled paper wherever possible. 5) Set up a 'Paper League' to track and reward departments' paper reduction. In return, I will try to use less paper.
