Proper loved the lolly pop lady. She knew all my brothers and sister and looked after us all.

please think off the safety off children n dont wait till a child is hurt this is a very busy road thro out the day never mind at school times which is obviously busier then please enroll a school crossing patrol thank you

I was a pupil at laygate junior school from 1979-1983 and we were always expertly chaperoned across the road by a lollipop person , the roads at this period of time were nowhere as unsafe as they are today and I find it diabolical that children are expected to cross these roads with no professional guidance , the cost of a lollipop person for one year would probably amount to the cost of one of your free bar town hall councillor party's , just saying like there should'nt be a price on safety
