The rule of law, applied equally to all persons in the context of fact-based evidence, is the cornerstone of justice and the foundation of the legal profession in America. This important principle is the underpinning of law school education for the theory and practice of law in the United States.

This time-honored foundation of our society is under threat. The Trump-MAGA movement, led by an unrepentant liar and felon, seeks to replace our system of law with Trump's own “alternative facts” and contempt for any law or court ruling that he disagrees with. If one person determines both facts and law, the wheels of justice will grind to a halt. Lawyers and judges will be reduced to puppets and enablers.

I stand with those, regardless of party, who value the rule of law. I stand for the integrity of the legal profession, including our jurists and our courts. I stand against all MAGA-Trump candidates, who would render our system of justice irrelevant, and I strongly endorse Kamala Harris for President.
