Laundry shouldn't be so expensive for student who are out living on their own for the first time. Doing laundry in the real world doesn't cost 3 freaking dollars a load if it's at your home. It's all in the bills, we should make it included in the housing fees

I have to go to my cousins apartment to do laundry cause I can't afford to do it in the dorms

It would make doing laundry much easier if it was an already prepaid commodity. I already spend the money. So, why not spend it upfront and not worry about scaviging for quarters or trying to find the money to wash and dry clothes.

I wouldn't mind having to pay an extra fee for laundry if I didn't have to swipe my card because with the way the card system works. If I don't have 6 dollars in my bank i would get over drafted my account when I have enough for a wash and dry cycle but get an extra 35 dollars out for overdraft fee.

Laundry is too expensive for the quality of the washer and dryers.

I feel like free laundry should be included. In my dorm none of the card readers ever work and I never have $3.00 in quarters for even 1 load of laundry much less 4 loads or more. It gets so irritating when the card readers don't work. This is an on going thing and is getting really old.

those prices add up and are costly when you have to come right out of pocket

I spend $10 every single time. It's just overly expensive.

Do I think it should be cheaper yes free... No. It costs money to run the machines which with individual use doesn't cost too much but with the amount of students that live on campus the price of operation adds up so that is why they charge though what they charge now is way overpriced.

At DePaul University, laundry is free to all students. Let's be more like them and other universities.
