Great idea, would help keep kids off the streets, occupied and socialising in a safe environment.
This would give the town a real boost, & people wouldn't have to travel so far for a soft play area for their kids
This is a long overdue project! Wish we had had some sort of community facility when I grew up in Launceston.
long live the unit skatepark! so glad there is movement to keep an indoor skateboarding facility in the area it is exactly what the town needs!
The Unit Skate Park is essential for the local community, surrounding ones and even people from a far. Its a safe place for young and older people to hang out and have a good time. Without this I effectively takes launceston off the map as its iconic and even local business benefit from visitors.

With the constantly growing population it's increasingly important that Launceston develops more facilities.
