The creation of such organization would instill not only a sense of responsibility for their own success and future, but also the success of their communities and their fellow students. Through such organization, students will be able to work together in the attainment of academic excellence and recognition, as well as scholastic and cultural enrichment in the form of organized activities and programs which would focus on the Latino student's needs.

I was just grabbing coffee and ran into a few people who had questions about the honor society and it really hit me how much space there is for us to actually build something meaningful here. I have been drafting a formal proposal to take to Dr. Johnson because if we want this to happen we need to show them exactly how it integrates with the campus culture so please keep the momentum going while I sort through all these logistical details.

I honestly never thought this would gain this much steam so fast but here we are and it makes me think about how many people actually want to see this happen on our campus. It feels surreal knowing we have this kind of momentum because back when I started typing this out in my dorm I figured it would just be me and maybe two other people who cared.

This would be so cool to have. I would love to be involved and meet other people.
its about time we had a group like this on campus. really hope this happens soon
why not? seems like a good way to bring everyone together and improve grades.
Diversity is actually so important for this school. Hope dr johnson listens to us.
