We, the Catholic faithful of the Archdiocese of New Orleans, prayerfully and humbly desire a daily Mass be offered in the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite. Our Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI wrote, in Summorum Pontificum, "no small numbers of faithful adhered and continue to adhere with great love and affection to the earlier liturgical forms." With that great love and affection in mind, we sign this petition to humbly ask our beloved faithful priests to consider offering a daily Mass in the Extraordinary Form for faithful in the Archdioceses of New Orleans

YES. The old rite is what we need to bring back for our kids. Too many churches have lost the sense of the sacred.

The traditional mass is so beautiful and reverent. We really need more opportunities for this in NOLA. God bless our priests who are willing to learn it.
