Parent's need to be accountable, They should have been accountable all along. Maybe if we have laws that make parents that own guns accountable, they will take things more seriously and keep their weapons where children cannot access them.

How is it that we have stricter rules for pets than for guns in a home with kids?? This is common sense and it is way past time to fix it.

So sad for the family. Parents need to wake up and lock their stuff away. If you own a gun it is your job to keep it safe from everyone else. Period.
