Landcom must provide Macarthur Heights residents alternative during pedestrian bridge closure

I have a young daughter taking the train early morning to school, she can walk home unassisted. An alternate access should be provided if you are planning to close.

It will be too far and unsafe for many residents to access the trains without this bridge. An alternative must be provided by Landcom particularly as their initial advertising for the Macarthur Heights blocks stated there is "improved access to Macarthur Station" which will no longer be true with the bridge closure.

Please provide another option. Absolutely not fair for us.

Many people will be impacted. This is not fair by land com - they have already made a lot of money from selling land and they should be humane and provide another option. There is literally no other possible way to the station and shopping for residents. Do something, or no one will trust your company to be one that actually cares !

With no other access point to the station the bridge is vital. Safe alternatives have to be provided for residents.

This bridge is vital as there is no legal alternative - it must remain open or, if it must be closed, alternatives need to be provided to meet the trains and not just at rush hour as the bridge is regularly used by people at all hours.

There is no public transportation from MacArthur height for the public to get to the train station

Please provide alternate solution for the residents. Many people use the bridge and they walk long distance. That closure will make their day worst.

We and our children use that connection bridge very often to access train station. Definitely need an altered access route if closing the bridge.

Please provide alternative option, if bridge is getting closed.

This is the path I use to be at station. If it close it gonna be really tough for us.

This is not a matter of begging or requesting; rather, it’s our right to get alternative access. I would urge all residents to be United and file a legal action immediately against Landcom and seek an injunction on the development until this issue is resolved.
