Landcom must provide Macarthur Heights residents alternative during pedestrian bridge closure

Please don’t close the bridge to the train station without another alternative option

Need alternative access from university side

I live on University Drive and my son goes to school by train everyday. Without access to train station he will be stuck especially when returning from school.

There should be an alternative access to the shopping centre. Preferably a bus

Please don’t close the pedestrian bridge from Mac Arthur Station to Mac Arthur Train station as my son is studying in Hurlstone Agriculture high school and goes by train. He uses the pedestrian bridge everyday to go to train station .It will affect the whole community who uses train for work

I am very surprised to know that Landcom do not already have an alternative access planned and designed. This footbridge was highly advertised to the public at the time of marketing the development by Landcom. Like many, I considered the footbridge as an advantage to buy property in Macarthur Heights(MH). By closing this access point Landcom will take away what the residents paid for at the time when they bought or built property in MH. Temporary closure of this access point without reasonable and acceptable alternative is unfair and unacceptable for the residents of MH.

Should provide alternative during closure to access McSquare and Railway Station.

There is an immense number of residents who rely on alternative access to the station to get to places. The closure is a major inconvenience and alternative transportation/access must be provided

Need a alternative arrangement as we are using the bridge very frequently.

No access between station and MH area is ridiculous and dangerous, forcing people to access station along dangerous roadways or increasing car traffic.

There is no alternative pedestrian access of this is closed down. It’s a disgrace and unacceptable.

Pedestrians require this bridge to access MacArthur heights, without it pickup and drop off is made extremely difficult.

A shuttle service from the carpark to the other entrance to the station would also work, otherwise someone is going to die walking over the Gilchrist Drive bridge.

We don't support any closures of the pedestrian bridge. This will have a detrimental consequences on our quality of life.

Please give some solutions

We want alternative solutions for 2 years.

Residents of Macarthur Heights need access to the station and 2 years is a very long time to be without it
