There should be an alternative to the bridge or else it would be difficult for the residents to get to work, bring groceries etc.

Absolute jike, shame on the Council and TFNSW also for not having a bus service through the estate. How hard is it to turn off Narellan Raos and go through the estate and then exit out the other side and back onto Narellan Road. The big schoole buses go through here and construction trucks so there is room on the roads for them to pass. The local member needs to be petotioned and pressure put on and make it an election issue.

They should leave the bridge open leave the only car park if they want to build their apartments to further contest our traffic out of the estate it's just not right .have a different exit for the apartments

A shuttle bus is not the answer an alternate walkway will be a better solution so many people use that bridge it's going to a terrible inconvience for so many. Why take the bridge away inthe first place

I have been renting in Macarthur Heights for the last 5 years. I do not drive. This closure will prevent me getting to work and being able to get groceries.

We need continued access to MacArthur Station for the MacArthur Heights residents. Not all people have transport and walk to the station and this was actually a selling point when we bought here. I use this bridge access to get to MacArthur station to travel to work to Sydney. Why can’t you just hoard the bridge access during construction rather than close off access which will affect so many people living here and attending Tafe and the University. You can’t just cut off access. Also many school children catch buses from MacArthur station and need the bridge access.

With absolutely no public transport being provided in Macarthur Heights this bridge is essential for daily use for the residents to commute to work and school and must remain open. Alternatives for frequent travel at all hours MUST be provided. Landcom's original ad which was plastered on billboards all throughout had "walk to Macarthur Train station". Absolutely appalling that Landcom would take away independence to so many people. This will also force residents onto major roads (ie Narellean Road) to catch buses.
