Lakewood Seward Park Pedestrian Safety

We live on 50th and there are so many small kids around that need safe access to the playground and community center, etc. Cars sometimes go so fast we can barely get out of our driveway. Please consider adding these pedestrian safety features!

It's such s curvy drive, people and bikes travel so fast. I'd like to have every safety measure available for pedestrians to get across and enjoy the lakefront,

I'm in complete support of more pedestrian safety.

Yes please. Could also use raised speed humps at 46th as lots of people cross to the Mt Baker Rowing Center, and cars *never* stop (saw someone inches from getting hit this week).

I support making the Boulevard and surrounding routes safer for bicyclists and pedestrians, especially if its going to take a Kidd Valley to pay for those marina repairs.

I suggest a raised crosswalk on Lake Washington Bl S at Angeline St instead of Ferdinand St. (Angeline is one block north of Ferdinand). Please consider for the following reasons: 1) Accidents - There have been two single car accidents there in the middle of the night due to speeding since we have lived here. Lone cars have crashed into the park trees as there is a slight bend in the road there. 2) # Pedestrians - There is more pedestrian traffic at the Angeline St because Angeline connects with Alaska St. while Ferdinand St actually dead ends on 55th (just one block). 3) Flow - Crossing from Angeline St the crosswalk would connect with the park sidewalk while the crosswalk at Ferdinand connects to grass field on the Lake Washington St.

I do support more and safer access

Its a long time for a well needed project that has been needed for many years.

This is a much needed request in an area with growing traffic and limited options for pedestrians resulting in an unsafe environment.

Traffic drives way too fast on Lake Washington Blvd and some cars even dangerously pass cars driving at the speed limit. Too many cars also don't respect the many bicycles on the road.

Great focus on access to street parks. I would really like to see street calming on 43 rd Ave S. Drivers along the park go way to fast!

Cars speed up Adams St. from the lake parking lot toward 50th. It would be great to have a speed bump on Adams St. as well.

This has needed to happen for a long time.
