There should absolutely be a crosswalk between Genessee Park and Stan Sayres!

This is not a race track....

In favor of safer mobility for peds. Most drivers will not stop for peds unless peds start walking out into the street, almost into traffic.

This would be very helpful in this area! Cars are frequently passing other cars at unsafe speeds, as well as high speed motorcycle "racing". Within inches of peds & bikes!!

Public safety needs to move higher on Seattle's priority list!

Indeed! There needs to be regulation of the 30mph speed limit along 50th Ave S

I live on 50th Street between Genesee and Adams and something needs to be done about the speed of traffic on this street for the safety of the children and pedestrians in this area.

I have contacted the city multiple times regarding speed and volume on 50th Ave S. Action is needed! Thanks.

When the Olmsted Brothers designed the boulevard, they did not envision the speed of modern traffic. It's supposed to be pedestrian friendly, please make adjustments.

Also, need one in front of La Escuelita on Genesse. Terrible crossing with 200 kids and parents trying to cross the busy street without any crossing and no one ever stops.

Crosswalks are needed along Lake Washington Boulevard for pedestrian safety. Car and motorcycle speeds are out of control on the boulevard making it unsafe. Speep humps will stop the raceway.

I would sign only if it included a provision to enforce traffic laws for those on bikers. Autos typically stop for pedestrians. Bikes stop for nothing.

I also support a crosswalk and speed bump at the intersection of Lake Washington Blvd S and 45th Ave S, where a lot of people cross the street from Genesee Park and the neighborhood in order to access the Stan Sayres Memorial Park and the walking/jogging path along the lake. Car traffic goes pretty fast along there.
