I spent all morning reading through the comments here and it is just honestly wild how many of you feel exactly the same way about missing out on the final walk across that stage. I keep emailing the board members but my inbox is just total crickets which is so frustrating because this is a big deal to us even if they want to pretend otherwise.

The current method for graduation is an undervalued idea with a less than promising outcome for the Seniors, some of us have been here for 14 years and our families for more, and would like to see a little more.
There can be measures taken to make graduation safe. There’s no reason to cancel it all together. This is a big thing for so many students, please don’t take that away.
I think it is the seniors day (and their parents) and if it is their wish to change it and it is financially and venue is ok to do later or differently that is safe then it should be changed.
Alianna asked me to sign her petition. We would love to see the senior class enjoy their graduation ceremony together. 12 guests won’t even allow her whole family to participate in her commencement. We know the decisions are difficult, but we would like to see a real graduation ceremony. An outdoor ceremony with all of the guests in cars would at least allow it to feel like a real graduation.
These students got their senior year taken away from them so at least give them an actual graduation ceremony with ALL of the students, family, and friends at the same place!!!!
You guys deserve this! Good luck!

We’ve waited too long and worked way too hard to settle for a recorded graduation alone with 12 people watching.
