It is imperative that the lake is properly maintained year round by competent professionals and in accordance with state regulations. The current state of mismanagement is unacceptable and needs to be rectified immediately to prevent further damage to the lake and wildlife.

The lake is an important community resource and wildlife habitat. It must be maintained as a healthy environment.

We are new to the area and are glad to see such active community discussion on this unfortunate turn of events.

I’ve lived on the lake for 11 years and never remember it so bad. The noxious fumes caused by the chemical dump are overwhelming. Please clean up the lake and find a non-chemical solution to prevent this from recurring.

Please help our lake with whatever resources are available. With pools limited during the pandemic, the lake is our one way for us to enjoy family time. Thanks for any assistance.

It would make everyone happier to clean it up and not wait for it to 'sink' and it's really nasty and smelly right now.

I am questioning the credentials and validity of the RA and wonder how the future of that association has not been put into question before this nightmare on a lake that is so poorly managed. Maybe spend less time policing people and more time caring for the lake.

The incredible lack of collaboration on lake health with people who live on this lake combined with an inappropriate degree of time instead spent policing dock licenses force a call for a change in management and responsibility. Residents themselves spent days shovelling OUT hydrilla themselves; turtles were found tangled and dead in the mess; wildlife has flown out; the stench is enough to cause a riot.

In addition to the other concerns raised in this petition, there is a decidedly negative economic impact on property values. RA must act now.
