I have had concerns for 50 years, and would be most interested in following this group and progress of bringing this travesty to the public light. The truth has long been covered up. Water is life.

Please let's do whatever we can to keep Lake Coeur d'Alene healthy. It is a vital part of our community.

Our lake is our entire economy. We need to recognize the dangers of leaving this problem untreated. This is not a problem to push onto future generations, but a problem that we can solve if we act now.

Please acknowledge that Coeur d'Alene lake needs and deserves our attention. The data is real and extremely concerning. Our timely attention to this matter is of utmost importance.

I am so excited that we are finally raising the awareness of the true and present condition of this beautiful body of water. This is such a powerful moment. Thank you for the clarity and integrity of this movement. It's time to face this truth before it's too late.

The concerns about this Lake are real and need serious attention. Data keeps getting reaffirmed, yet restrictions by man for the Lake's health are continually ignored by our agencies and decision makers. Shameful!

Please respond publicly and ACT swiftly and effectively. This is a big problem that impacts everyone.

Most people coming to our Beautiful Lake areas do not know the truth about our Lake Coeur d'Alene is in trouble.

I am 75 and my family has been on lake since 1953. I also grew up in Kellogg so am well aware of dangers to lake. I have wondered why lakeshore homeowners (I am one) have not encouraged people not to fertilize lawns or not use phosphorous containing detergents for dishes or clothes. I’m ready to help!!!

The lake and the whole Coeur d’Alene basin are invaluable natural assets, as is the Spokane River flowing out of the lake.

I am very concerned about increased nitrogen and Phosphorous levels.

As a 52yr Environmentalist I am apoled that real estate agents and our local leadership GLAMORISE our waterways and tributaries even though they are contained and most life within them is inedible or has strick consumption regulations and most of them are not POSTED with any warning of safety for those that use them for a staple food supply!!!

Lack of investment in public conservation land and development are quickly deteriorating the health of the lake. Growth management should be enacted stopping the further chopping up of lots which rely on septic systems and continue the deforestation. Old systems need inspection and testing. A plan to end phosphate use by households and businesses is necessary. End new marinas adding more boats to the overused resource. Clean water is not a resource to be used but preserved. It is the #1 reason people want to live in this area and it's time to acknowledge it is threatened. A plan that looks 50-100 years in the future should studied and investments towards no net loss in water quality made.

We must act now to mitigate the damage to our beautiful lake and our community! We all have a responsibility keep our environment clean and healthy.

I have lived on the Eastside of Lake CDA for over thirty eight years. The deterioration of the lake is alarming. Local and state governments have bowed to special interest groups to the detriment of the lake.

It’s time to start caring about what all of us grew up knowing in high school in the 90’s!!!
