The town of Lake Los Angeles, even though considered a \'no growth\' zone, has grown from about 5000 to almost 20,000 in the past 15 years. At this time the community needs a retail outlet (example: K Mart,Wal Mart, Target) a full sized supermarket and drug store. We also need to restore the Lakes to their original condition, and we must have equestrian trails for our extensive horse community. All of these are very important to the future of the community of Lake Los Angeles. Supervisor Antoniovich has recommended a very expensive, and rare, zoning study to help Lake Los Angeles along in attaining these goals, and help to secure the future our community. This petition will be deliverd to Supervisor Antoniovich, the Lake Los Angeles Town Council, Lake Los Angeles Chamber of Commerace, as well as CEOs of corporations like, K-Mart, Wal Mart, Target, Vons, Stater Bros, ect... to show them the community of Lake Los Angeles is interested in having their business come to our corner of LA County.
