No more discord amongst the owners and the board please!

Is my husband also able to sign this Petition ? Or is it only one signature per unit ? Also not everyone owns a computer and has an e-mail address which is the preferred source of communication from Lake village HOA. Are the people whom do not have access to a computer or an e-mail address being sent the petition by mail ? Or by phone ? All avenues should

I’m still opposed to limiting STRs. Enforce laws and guidelines in order to preserve the peace and safety of other owners but don’t become an overreaching government. As you can tell this has already created a divide amongst owners. Don’t try controlling the freedom of all owners due to a few bad experiences. If we created laws and guidelines that can be agreed upon without limiting the freedom of how owners are able to rent then it allows us all to show respect for all owners and their opinions. Enforcement of those laws and guidelines should be supported by all. We don’t need another governmental body overreaching in perfectly responsible able bodied lives. Manny

As a homeowner, I oppose any limitations to STR or VHR in Lake Village

Do not take away our right to short term lease our home. Unit 218 We may wish to do this within the next 2-5years.

My husband, Steve Getz and I own Unit 100D . I too wanted to sign the petition.

We are owners of a licensed STR. We have a excellent Management company which takes a very active role in protecting and maintaining our unit. Screening has proven to be very effective. We have had zero complaints to our knowledge.

We oppose limitations upon STRs at Lake Village. For the record, Tracey and I rent our place (96B Lake Village) lightly to pay taxes and not to generate income. We already forbid our rental agency to rent our place for less than 3 nights, to curb "weekend warriors." The point is, we love our place, we fly up from Texas as much as possible to enjoy it, and we are taking steps to preserve the $90,000 renovation we conducted when we bought in. The board is not only ignoring the wishes of the people it represents, it is also lumping everyone into 2 groups, though it is clear that there are renters who act like residents and support the residential feel of Lake Village, just as there are residents who support renters and their responsible use of their property. This said, Tracey and I support this petition.

HOA officers should follow the wishes of the homeowners.

I did think there should be some controls, but it looks like it needs to be discussed some more, plus I thought they were just collecting ideas and that the Membership would have voted on it vrs the board just going ahead and doing changes

I completely disprove of any limits to STR rentals at Lake Village. We do not use our property for STR but fully support allowing owners to rent on a short term and long term basis.
