I agree with your petition. The gate seems to be propped open more than closed as it should.

Hello Anonymous, yes the truck blocking the handicap spot and the handicap sidewalk ramp happened just this morning and the truck making the big ruts in the grass was a Babcock Ranch Operations trucks. I took pictures of both incidents.

I don’t appreciate cars parking on the grass and leaving ruts when it is muddy. I saw a pickup truck blocking an empty handicap space but no one around. Driving is difficult when cars are parked on both sides of the street making it hard or impossible for an emergency vehicle to pass.

What is the possibility of having those guests invited by those renting the clubhouse be required to park at the Sunset park parking, and they either walk or are provide transport over as part of the renting fee. They already have those electric mini buses here.

This place doesn’t have enough parking for normal use without hosting events. There should also be parking spots for mail pickup.

It hasbeen fustratiog at times trying to get our mail. But, the use of the lodge in ways it was never meant for and the excessive occupation over the number authorized is dangerous.

Lake Timber Lodge was never designed to be used as a large scale commercial venue on a continuous bases. There are only 26 parking spaces for the lodge, the pool, the playground, and the mailboxes combined. Residents who need a vehicle to retrieve mail, often find themselves unable to park in those spaces, as they are occupied by the people attending meetings and church services in the lodge. Furthermore, the poolgate is almost always left open, leading to the pool frequently being used by non residents during hot days. The many businesses using the Lake Timber lodge for commercial purposes, normally prop the gates open to allow access for non resident attendees. The use of this lodge as a commercial meeting space impacts the use of the facility as a pool deck, as people constantly are traipsing back and forth between the street and the lodge. Often carrying, large amounts food, beverages, decorations, and other items in between the lounge chairs.

I often have to park behind parked cars in the parking area to get my mail. Cars are parked all along the nearby streets and on the grass

When we purchased our home 3 years ago we were told the lodge was for our local community only. We never expected it to become a commercial rental property.

Thank you for the work you've done! I had seen a post about pool issues. When I lived in a condo with an HOA, they had rules: No Running, No Jumping into the pool, No floats, No water guns etc... just saying that way there were no issues like the one I saw where people took sides. Just safety and calm for all.
