I would add that decreased patrols means more reckless driving in these two heavily trafficked roads and that people's lives both drivers and pedestrians are at high risk daily.

Or at the very the least cyclists could be allowed access to Stimpson during certain hours of the day. Wouldn't cost the county anything.

As a driver and bicyclist on this road, it would make the windy road so much safer for all parties to have an expanded shoulder or a separate paved or hard packed gravel path for people of all ages and abilities.

Road-widening or developing an adjacent bike trail for Lake Louise Rd and Lake Whatcom Blvd. would create a significant safety improvement for vehicles, bicyclists and pedestrians; a quality-of-life enhancement to encourage safe access to the many popular trailheads (i.e. Stimpson, Lookout Mtn); and a carbon-reducing improvement to encourage more human-powered transportation for commutes and errands. Finally, it would complement the WTA bicycle ridership service offered on the Sudden Valley 512 loop. Thank you for the consideration.

Bike lanes would be a wonderful addition to this part of the county! They would help the flow of vehicle traffic, bike commuters (like myself) to confidently ride to work, and recreational cyclists.
