Please build a dedicated bike lane on Lake Louise Road and Lake Whatcom Blvd. Cycling is an incredible part of Bellingham’s beautiful and active culture. A dedicated lane would greatly benefit the health and safety of our entire community. What an amazing riding route this would add if it could be done safely on a dedicated lane. Please invest in our collective future with more dedicated bike lanes!

Providing safe travel to bicycle riders is the responsibility of everyone not only laws but improvements in roads should be a top priority. Safe passage into and out of Sudden Valley is imperative for everyone on the road. This needs to be accomplished by construction of bike lanes and signage and strict adherence to speed.

sudden valley needs bike lanes ASAP! It’s such a scenic but deadly route. it’s a bad look for the local real estate market if someone were to get run over on this stretch of road.

either add bike lanes or restrict bikes from riding on that road

This would increase non-motor mobility for many of us while also reducing pollution.

I ride my bike almost everyday. Because of how risky it is to ride my bike from here to Bellingham, I have never biked Lake Whatcom Blvd. I have done Lake Louise Blvd. This is a little safer.

There will soon be a trail from Vancouver BC to San Diego. Surely we can create one around Lake Whatcom.

This would reduce motor vehicle traffic since people could bike commute or bike recreate, also for walkers

Bike lanes/shoulders on Lake Whatcom Blvd. would reduce auto traffic and be a safety benefit for all road users.

May also cut down on traffic and increase bike commuting if there was a safer bike lane
