Would love to see a safe bike lane on the Lake Louise Road! Would keep those brave individuals who are already riding the road safer and perhaps encourage more to join them (I would be one of them)!

Lake Whatcom Blvd is used extensively by bicyclists and there is no shoulder at all for most of the way. It is a major safety concern.

Lake Louise Road is dangerously narrow for all users in the best of conditions, especially given that posted speed limits are rarely observed. Bike lanes, widening shoulders, and/or dedicated bike paths should all be considered, as should speeding enforcement. Please don’t wait for casualty rates to increase before taking action.

I would prefer bike lane/shoulder widening on Lake Louise Rd only, not Lake Whatcom Blvd which is too close to our drinking water. But shoulders for safe biking to Stimpson and Lookout Mt and Sudden Valley would be amazing for safety and are long overdue. After living in Gate 9 of SV for 20+ years, I would never consider allowing my kids or even myself to bike along that roadway.

I would really benefit from being able to e-bike from downtown to tumbling water drive. Would make a big difference in multimodal access to mine and my parents home!
