The completion of the Lake Links Trail project is only going to enhance all of the communities surrounding the lake.

I would love to be able to bike and walk on a trail through Dellwood and around the lake.

Wonderful project. I ride and walk the trail. Old train right of way is already there. More bikes , less stinky cars

Biking - or walking - on hwy 244 is currently pretty hazardous. I use this route often as a cyclist. While I am a proficient rider, I find the biking tenuous at best: The shoulder is almost non-existent, making it necessary for car traffic to pass close to riders. It is very dangerous for young children on this road. Please consider making some provision for a safer bike route along this route.

I love biking on the East side of the lake but biking on 244 is a little risky at this point. The road is in rough shape in places and there is no room to safely ride. A path down this route would make it so much safer to bike with my kids and friends who aren't as comfortable riding in the street. Please help have a safe connection to the other trails in Mahtomedi and the lake!

Completing the Lake Links Trail through Dellwood is critical for the safety of all who walk and bike around White Bear Lake. It's currently very dangerous, especially with cars going in both directions. Please work together to get this section of the trail completed.

This route along 244 is not safe for walkers and bicyclists. Any improvements will enhance the area.

Safe recreation is a top priority for me, as an athlete, family member, and community member of White Bear Lake. Lake Links trail members and community members have worked hard to provide a safe walking and cycling trail around WBL. We need everyone's support to get this done around the entirety of the lake.

This trail would be an invaluable part of my daily life!! I am currently pregnant with my first child, and I would love to have a safe option for me and my child to bike and go for walks around the lake and around the city of dellwood, which currently severely lacks sidewalks and protected walking paths. This trail would be a huge step in the right direction for our city!

“We can do it!” This segment is the most hazardous portion for riding/walking around the lake. We need a cooperative effort from all parties.

Please see this all the way through so that all families in the surrounding communities can enjoy White Bear Lake! This would be good for all!

We live in Grant and do not have a way to safely enjoy the lake. If the trail is complete, many more people would have the opportunity to enjoy our nature in the community.

We moved to Grant in 1998 to access and appreciate nature. We love the outdoors. One of the best ways to enjoy the outdoors is via bike and rollerblade. And MN is known for being bike friendly. We could really enjoy the lake if the trail was complete. Please see this project to closure.

Dellwood roads are dangerous. They have no shoulder and there are big pot holes that force bikers to swerve into the street to avoid them.

We need this, it would be a great benefit to the community!

State Funding and most of the right of way has already been established for this section of the trail around White Bear Lake.. Most property owners have given and supported easements using the old rail lines next to 244. These paths are an asset to the community and surrounding communities, that allow safe walking and biking access to White Bear Lake Yacht Club. Community Members and residents support this lasting healthy living and safety legacy for the benefit of families, children and students. All that is needed is the agreements by the State, City and County to complete the paths. Using the old rail lines will create a separated safe, peaceful path and lasting legacy for the community, by the end of 2024.
