The 244 corridor in Dellwood is unsafe for bikers. Please make a positive mark in history to complete a safe, community-connecting trail around WBL.

Having just moved to the area from Eagan where there are numerous safe walking opportunities in parks both city and county. We see a big need to get this project happening to encourage physical activity it the beautiful spaces around WBL. We hope someday walking paths are extended south of Stillwater Road on Warner Avenue, where none exist today. Thank you.

I love to bicycle but feel unsafe riding through Dellwood and on Highway 96. A safer route would be a great feature for all the communities around the lake

I look forward to using the Lake Links trail with my 10 year old grandson. Making memories SAFELY is a very good use of the bonding money. Please settle this soon.

Why is this not happening? It will benefit so many and enhance all of the communities around the lake.

Please complete this trail . We have lied in the area for over 30 years and love biking around the lake but it is not completely safe. Finishing the trail is a gift to the community and provides safe biking/walking. Please finish it before we deadline to utilize the funds.

Please work together to make good use of this money.
It is about 10 miles around White Bear Lake, which is a perfect bike ride for the young and old. I haven't taken the ride around the lake for several years because of the dangerously narrow (hard to see over the hill) section of Hwy 244 south of Highway 96 through Dellwood. There is 2.6 million dollars available to make a safe, separated shared-use trail. Please work together to make good use of this money.

Using a bike for recreation and safe transportation close to home would be possible for me and many others if this stretch along 244 was finished. Please find the solution, and soon. Thanks to all who have brought the project to this point.

I moved to white bear lake a few years ago, and was excited to find there was a trail right near my house that I could explore and bike on. It was disappointing to find it wasn’t finished, but excited to know it was in the works. I love being outside, biking, and walking my dogs, and it would make it so much easier and more enjoyable to have a safe trail to do that on.

Biking has become an important retirement activity for me. Having a safe separated trail along 244 will allow my husband and I to safely travel around the lake, enjoying the beauty of the area. But we cannot bike this area until a safe trail has been completed.

This trail is so long overdue! I'm lucky I didn't get in a crash 30 years ago biking around the lake as a teen.
Please, make this a safe reality for generations to come.

Relatively short, the 1.5-mile segment is a hazardous stretch to motorists and pedestrians alike. And, it is an unsightly stretch of roadway that tax paying citizens like me expected to see vastly improved - in line with the lovely surroundings. The right of eminent domain would be a provision to resolve the conundrum, but at the cost of good citizenship and balanced leadership. Please work together and define a mutually beneficial solution in a timely manner. With many thanks. Your neighbor, KBL
