We go out of our way thru residential neighborhoods to avoid riding that part of 244

Riding the trail around White Bear Lake is so pleasant until the ride on 244 which is so very dangerous. Riding, walking and rolling around WBL is vital to a safe and vibrant community.

244 is extremely dangerous for riding, it’s only. A matter of time before we see an unfortunate event occur between a bike and a vehicle. It’s time to make the move and finish the Lake Link. trail

My boys had to bike on the 244 shoulder to get to work at the Yacht Club. I would have loved for them to have had a safe way to bike there!!

I ride around the lake twice a week. The lake link in Dellwood needs to be completed before someone gets hurt.

I live on the trail which essentially runs through my front yard. This is not a big deal - people are just moving from point A to point B and enjoying the ride/walk. Is it a change, yes. But as changes go, this is not one to fret over. It is a change in support of the larger community, of which Dellwood is one part, and safety. Search your souls and let’s move forward.

This project is absolutely essential for providing WBL surrounding communities with a safe corridor for walking, jogging and biking around our beautiful lake. It will provide a safe and enjoyable experience for many generations to come.

This trail is greatly needed given the major public safety dangers of the current situation. Dellwood should not throw away its $2.6M grant given the relatively small sum to fund the design work.

Being an avid bike rider, I love to bike around White Bear Lake, and many of the other Washington county roads. However, a number of years ago I quit riding around white bear lake in particular hey 244 due to the amount of traffic, and the lack of a biking lane. It’s simply is not safe.

Get the trail completed. Biking on 244 as it currently stands is dangerous.

As a runner - Dellwood is completely cut off from trails - only running to get to a trail is busy hwy 96 with no shoulder. Same with bikers - completely unsafe.
