I urge City of Dellwood, MNDoT, and Washington County to work toward ensuring a safe route for biking, walking, and rollerblading through Dellwood along Hwy 244. I have biked along this route in the past, but no longer do because I don't feel safe. Our communities deserve a safe way to navigate around the lake!

Let's continue to support out door, healthy fun and exercise for people in our community. We enjoy the Lakes and have a responsibility to take care of the land and water where we live. Nature is to be enjoyed and cared for by all of us.

This is a crucial section of the lake links trail. This section of road is currently utilized by walkers, runners and bikers at great risk. Our community needs this section of the trail completed for its residents.

Let’s finish the trail so it is safe to bike and walk around White bear lake because it supports health, connection and safety.
P..s. Thé shoulder of the road is 6 inches or less in places. Very dangerous!

Having a safe trail all around the lake encourages time out in nature for all. Safety is key to this experience which will benefit the adjoining communities.

It is not safe to ride a bike along 244 in Dellwood due to the narrow, curvy road with no shoulder. This means that I cannot cycle around the lake, and I will not ever be able to do so unless this last, crucial segment of the Lake Links Trail is completed.

The Dellwood road is scary. Pedestrians need to be safe. This road is already narrow for vehicles, there is no safety for bikers or walkers.

Biking, running, or hiking are particularly worrisome and actually scary on the section of the road around the lake through Dellwood. I certainly hope the jurisdictions involved can resolve this issue quickly so that this part of the trail can be completed. It will be a safer and a welcomed route around the lake!

The Lakes Link trail is the safety for all, the whole White Bear Lake trail. Especially Dellwood area. As a vehicle driver it scares me in that area. Every curve is a scare. As a biker and a walker it scares me in that area. It's not safe at all. I bike and walk a lot. It needs to be completed for the safety of everyone.

This would be fantastic! I enjoy riding from Stillwater to WBL area, but a safer route around lake is needed to enjoy with family.
