To the City of Gravenine:
We are writing to express our urgent concern regarding the increasingly dangerous driving around Lake Grapevine parks. The reckless driving observed on Meadowmere Lane and Oak Grove Park during soccer games poses a significant threat to pedestrians and bicyclists, who are at high risk of being struck and injured. We implore the City of Grapevine to take immediate action to step up traffic safety enforcement in these areas, prioritizing the safety of park visitors and residents around the lake.
Additionally, we are alarmed by the increasing amount of garbage and litter around the lake shores, particularly around the boat ramps and parks where sports activities take place. The lack of trash receptacles, slow trash pickups, and the scattering of trash left overnight by weather/local wildlife are contributing factors to this issue. This is a serious issue that cannot be ignored any longer.
As concerned members of the Lake Grapevine community, we urge the City of Grapevine to increase the number of trash and litter pickups to keep the areas clean and safe for everyone. We hope to work together to preserve the beauty and safety of our parks and lake shores.

I ride my bike by Meadowmere and surprised by the amount of trash along the road. Needs help.
I live at 3029 Midway Road and see and hear the racing through Meodowmere Park almost every night.

We were out on the lake this morning and scooped quite a bit of trash, cans, bottles, styrofoam, plastic bags, Mylar balloons and even a 2x4 about 4 ft in length. Plus there was trash left on the dock at McPherson boat ramp
