After visiting the town I think a substation the size proposed would be extremely detrimental.

Has anyone looked at the implications for health & well being if these proposals were to be enacted??? This is a most disturbing proposal & I wonder if the directors of the energy company would be happy to bring their families to live within a few hundred meters of the proposed new substation or under the power lines?

What has Lairg done to be the centre of a Colossal Wind Factory? Enormous substation + Pylons + possibly 300 Turbines

Putting up these unpleasant looking substation in our village would ruin the scenery that locals and tourists enjoy, and more importantly, it'll be in unsafe distance from many houses.
SSE, we appreciate your democratic approach in asking the locals for their view, so hear it from us" WE DO NOT WANT YOU TO PUT AN SUBSTATION IN YOUR FAVOURITE ROUTE".

This is as thoughtless and insensitive a proposal as could be made. Site the sub station and route the pylons as far from human habitation as possible.

This insensitive proposal will blight a village and dominate a traditional crofting landscape. SSE needs to think again.

This would completely ruin a beautiful area of the Highlands and impact on the fragile economy there.
