There is not enough pre-planning before these development proposals are presented to the City.

We won a decisive victory when we tore down the KFC and repealed toonie Tuesday. Now we face out greatest challenge. They want to build this and potentially ruin the value of my million dollar box house built in the 1970s that I haven't renovated since the 80s. The United Nations needs to alerted to this inhumanity, I will not stand for this.

Ladner is a small town! Real salt-of-the-earth-i-drive-an-audi type place! Just think of the horrors if this thing gets built! My children might have a place to live, awful! We need to scrap this! Remember, we're a small farming town! Yes my house is worth 2 million, but it's an honest, hardworking, sun-up sun-down 2 million. Let's keep the charm of a hardware store built in the 90s. If ladner becomes affordable...let's not even think about that

Stop ruining Ladner there is no more room for any more people.

No to wood frame 6 story building.

Alot of Ladner folk who have been born and raised here dont want this large building to be built at that location. Many other locations to pick. This will ruin little downtown Ladner Village. I will be sharing this with THOUSANDS of others!!!

6 storeys is not appropriate for the centre of a small town

Absolutely the wrong plan for the historic centre of the Village and will set a precedent for the whole of Ladner.

This will make for a congested area in our village. It does not give the Ladner vibe, we all know and love

Too high. Destroys the look and feel of Kadner Village

This development will destroy the Heritage Village of Ladner. This "wall" of 6 storey housing will cut the heart of the Village from its Historic waterfront where in 1870 the Ladner Brothers started the fishing village. Traditional villages build a sense of community. Please Council don't be the group that initiated the destruction of Ladner Village. If you ignore history there will not be much of a future for this community in Delta.

If you build a complex like this you will ruin the Village The architecture is far too modern and the building surely doesn't have to be this tall. We need to keep the feeling of the Village like it is. It gives you a good feeling wandering around there.
