It makes no sense for a woman to miss her salah because she is out with her husband and kids. They can make a stop at salah time and pray but she has to resort to finding a space outside in park like as if she has done something wrong. None of these men that deny access to women have any issues sending that same woman out to the market place for groceries which entails having to talk to a men and yet they refuse the same woman to go and pray in private woman space!

The deliberate attempt to keep women away from Mosque is once again symbolic of power structure of patriarchal society to reinforce 'their' supremacy. But now time has come to raise our voices and stand equal with them wherein the provision of human rights topped the list and is very pivotal and integral part of every human being.

Oh Muslim males of Barbados, the prophet (saw) didn't send the ladies away from the mosque. They should have their space.
