Very relieved to hear that there is concern about a just response for all in Labour.

Women's rights are being eroded by men - again. Why do I get referred to as a person with a cervix? No, I'm a woman. Do men get referred to as a person with testicle, no!!

So pleased to see this initiative from Labour women. I am hoping that our manifesto will make it clear that Sex should continue to be a protected characteristic under the Equality Act.

Women's sex based rights were hard fought for and are as necessary today as they ever were.

It deeply concerns me that the labour party with whom I've supported over many years is not protecting us. We have the right to feel safe and expressing that should not be interpreted as being anti trans rights. I believe the trans community should be respected and listened to but not at the expense of women and their rights as we've fought so long to be heard.

Transwomen are NOT females. They should not compete in women's sport. They should not use women's changing facilities & toilets. They should not be housed in women's refuges or prisons.

Please all stand up for the rights of women and girls and for them to continue to have their rights protected as stated in EA2010

Women’s rights are human rights. How on Earth have we got to the position that stating this is contentious.

I have voted labour all my life but unless labour now supports women's sex based rights and single sex facilities and services I won't be able to vote in this election

The Labour Party is not fit for purpose while it refuses to acknowledge the oppression of women on the basis of biological sex.

I fear for the future of the Labour Party. Divisive identity politics is a road to hell paved with good intentions.

Labour have lost sight of women’s sex-based rights as material analysis has given way to fashionable identity politics.
