I will not be doing anymore volunteer work for the Labour Party until they have stopped being complicit in the destruction of women's rights.

I hope this includes helping the 1950 born women who are living in poverty because of a 6 year state pension hike with no help from the government.

Essentialist ideologies should not be allowed to dictate Labour policy.

We have too keep on reminding people of our rights.

Women and girls need female-only spaces for our safety, dignity and privacy. Stating this is not bigotry, it is reasonable risk assessment. Politicians arguing against it are thoughtless bandwagon-jumpers, playing God with women’s lives, and unfit for public office.

I would also like to be assured that these single sex rights are maintained, where appropriate, to females who are biologically females. And not extended to self identifying females where harm is caused to those born female. This declaration is not perfectly clear but I assume it is the intention.

Women and girls are unprotected if GRA continues to erode all safe spaces. This needs open debate where women can have a real voice to raise concerns. The labour party needs to lead the way on this being the party most profoundly active in civil rights.

Shocking that we need such a declaration in this the twenty first century!

Item 3 is such a fundamental right which I've seen trampled on so many times in this debate ........ "Women have the right to discuss policies which affect them, without being abused, harassed or intimidated."

What a fantastic site, all women (and men) should have access to it...and so much to use on the doorstep...

I was in NY with the Delegation April this year when we launched Women Sex Based Rights at the UN CEDAW event. It is imperative that Labour get back on track with an agenda that specifically addresses Women’s sex based rights that are currently enshrine in UK equality laws.

Thank goodness there’s a party that is standing up for this. I was lost before with everyone selling women out in favour of seeming woke.

Feel strongly about women losing personal spaces such as changing rooms and toilets to gender neutral spaces.

My priority is to see the Equalities act 2010 enforced, to ensure that sex remains a protected characteristic and that single sex provision is not optional in public /private spaces but guaranteed and enforced. Women need physical safety, dignity and mental safety in prisons, hospitals, schools, changing areas etc. This should not even be in question. We need all data to collect Sex not gender - crime statistics, health, social care, schools - the funding of all of these depend on accurate data, which is no longer collected, just how people feel. Sexism will not end if we stop seeing or using the word sex. Women need this.
