I hold the view that every person has the right to dress as they like, call themself by any name they choose, live with and have consensual sex with whoever they choose - But only without causing stress or fear to any other person, therefore no-one with a functioning penis should be allowed into Women-only spaces - changing rooms, toilets, refuges, prisons, sports competitions - ie in any situation where the male's greater physical strength renders the women at risk.

Totally behind this petition and came to Womans Place rally at Speakers Corner. Braving the weather, braving history. Passionate about free speech and free press.

Can’t believe I have to do this. Born into a Labour family 70 years ago, always voted for Labour, where to go now.....

Hugely disappointed in the candidates who have signed these disgraceful pledges and turned their backs on the women of this country in order to pander to a misogynistic minority group.

Measured debate cannot happen when women cannot meet for discussion without aggressive interference

I will not be intimidated into staying silent. Respectful and non aggressive debate should continue and purges/expulsions stopped. On this issue and on antiZionism for that matter.

Actually I’m not a Labour member, as I couldn’t bear to join with all this going on. People like me are being alienated/ driven away. I am concerned about safeguarding (especially in schools and without consent) and strongly believe after my experience working in a women’s refuge for extremely vulnerable women that women need safe spaces.

Let's discuss this with kindness as we develop understandings. Abuse, name-calling, and any form of aggression won't resolve this.

We have to defend women’s rights because sex is a material reality, and gender self-identification is an ideology - one that is being played by right-wing forces in their war on women. I stand against discrimination and hatred of trans people - they are not our enemy. But the ideology of destroying women’s right to self-organise for our needs is unacceptable - and the vicious and violent manner in which this ideology is being pursued shows that.

I stand In solidarity and will actively fight to maintain the rights that our sisters before us fought for. Women’s spaces for women only

It really is a simple thing to understand. When a child is born without one clear defining sex characteristic then the matter is complex and not open to policymakers but open to medical people, parents and the child / young person themselves. The law we have based around protected sex characteristics should not be muddied or confused due to a medically termed condition such as I understand gender dysphoria to be. If a 3rd space is needed; if a 3rd protected character is needed then do it but not at the expense of any other sex. I am a woman and I do not know what it 'feels' like to be a woman; I just am. I similarly do not know what it feels like to be my neighbour, my mother, my sister, my daughter - all women - because they are not me. There is no 'feeling' like a woman. You either are or you are not, the only exception being the complexity of the child born as both. Please please see how simple this is. Please please understand how needed sex based rights & protection are.

I'm a role holder in my CLP, active in my union and consider myself to be on the left of the party. I'm afraid I'm too scared to add my name to the published list.
