'Woman' is not a feeling in a person's head. Subjective feelings do not trump biological reality. No politician should face threats, intimidation and harassment for standing up for the rights of the female sex class. No party leader should allow threats to the life of one of his MPs from within his own party / supporters. Shame on the Labour party and shame on Keir Starmer.

I'm not a party member, but I've voted Labour all my life. I'm dismayed at the position the Labour Party is taking with regards to women's sex-based rights, and will not be voting for them in the future - in both council and general elections - until this changes.

I'm not a member but usually vote Labour. Woman's sex-based rights and protections are vital and this issue is one which may well be critical when deciding who to give my vote to in future.

I am a Labour member. I support sex based rights for women. It’s vitally important we retain these. I support trans rights but sex based rights are still essential. Thank you

Listen to women when they tell you they need their exclusive sex based rights protected or remain unelectable.

Come on Labour. Show a bit of basic support for women and girls' sex-based rights. Currently you seem actively intent on erasing them. You won't be getting my vote (or membership) again until you do.

I was a member of the Labour Party but cancelled my membership when the madness started and they threw women under the bus.

This issue prevents me from joining Labour. No man should be able to simply ID as a woman

Not a Labour member but this is my single most important issue. I am disgusted at how fast you want to eradicate women’s rights and safeguards. Will never ever agree that TWAW.

I have always voted labour - but unbelievable move to centre male preferences over the justified fears, concerns and lived reality of women has made me turn away. Until you have high ranking leaders stating their commitment to upholding the rights of women and girls, or even being able to define a woman as an adult human female, I will not be looking back.

I fully support the rights if women, girls and lesbians to have protected single sex spaces. These are being deconstructed and the party which should support us has let us down. This is deeply worrying and will not help Labour to be a credible party in future. I support fully the aims of this petition.

If you're not sure what a woman is let me give you a clue; we all came out of one.

If Labour does not support women, women will not support them. Sort this out.

I am appalled at the way women have been treated for standing up for women's rights. It is really important that we are allowed to do so
