Please, please listen to women about single-sex protections.

Women 51% population Must be full public debate I voted tory first time last election Next election ?

Thinking about whether I can remain in a party that is happy to trample over the rights of women and girls, and lesbians.

I was a member of Labour for many years, but left because they appeared to have been captured by Gender Identity Theory (GIT) ideology. I'm delighted to see there is a fightback going on within Labour

Having stuck with my Labour membership through thick and thin over the last 30 years, THIS now the issue that will make me rip up my membership card. Open your eyes to the risks to women and girls of not protecting single sex spaces! I feel BADLY let down.

I don't for one moment disagree with trans rights. However, I do not think that one section of societies rights, should be allowed to over ride the hard won rights of women

My vote at the next GE will solely be decided on this issue.

Sex matters.

Thank you for doing this! I want my daughter to start Rainbows next year, but with the current policies of allowing male bodied ‘women’ to be leaders, I will not let her join.

I have voted Labour for 47 years but no more after this unless they review their stance on recognising women by biological sex and not imagination.

As a retired Health Visitor and previous Victim Support volunteer I had contact with a women’s refuge and women experiencing domestic abuse. I was horrified to realise female single sex spaces are being opened up to biological males who self identify as the opposite sex. Women are vulnerable in prisons, refuges, changing rooms and toilets. I am certain many women have no idea what is happening.

I was a Labour party member within the Broxtowe CLP but cancelled my membership recently following the treatment of Rosie Duffield and the words of Kier Starmer. I feel politically homeless right now!

it's time for a nuanced, sensitive discussion around this subject, not just another instance of women being silenced and demeaned

This misogynistic attack has to be attacked for what it is

The current trans rights movement is deeply homophobic and misogynistic. It is also heterophobic, not that heterosexual men face the same problems that women and especially lesbians face.

Please can we have a sensible debate on this issue.

The words for women are being eroded mother is the latest. I am not a person with a uterus I am a woman.

I respect the rights of others. I would like others to respect mine.

I cannot support the Labour Party when it refuses to listen to the concerns of women.
