I am so alarmed that the Labour Party is refusing to acknowledge and protect women’s sex based rights to single sex spaces and services. I have spent most of my life having lived in a male biased, dominated world; seen as game to be groped, discrimination in employment, pay, education and sports and feared for my life, when being inappropriately followed or cat called and now the Labour Party intends to take away any safeguards for sex based rights, what am I then to your party, a nothing with no rights! I am not transphobic and support the rights of trans people as should my rights be protected & supported.

Stonewall is now a neo-misogynistic cult. End of.

I disagree that the Labour Party and the trade unions have always stood on the side of women. Trade unions insisted that men had their jobs back at the end of the First and Second World Wars and women were turfed out. There are many examples of trade unions failing to fight for the rights of female employees favouring their male colleagues pay and conditions instead. I am signing this petition because myself and my parents have always supported labour and I feel the Labour Party is once again not standing on the side of women. For me this is a massive safeguarding issue. What have been lead news stories in April? The disastrous conviction rate for rape. The crimes of Jimmy Savile. The police paying compensation to the Rotherham victims of sexual exploitation who they ignored and humiliated. Society does not believe that all men are dangerous to women and yet men are excluded from women’s safe places. Is not the reason for this the fact they possess a penis and are physically stronger than women. It is to allow women and girls to be safe from the predatory male hidden amongst the normal ones. How does the fact a man declares himself female but possess male sexual organs and male sexual hormones make the man any less potentially dangerous to females? It is similar to giving Jimmy Savile the keys. Allowing trans-women to behave as though they are women is to remove all the safeguarding society has put in place over decades. The horrific crimes perpetrated against females by males is lived and documented history. It is fact. It has been studied by scientists for years. It happens every day. Why should the whims and fancies of a handful of men (who insist they are women) be more important than the entire weight of this studied documented reality. Males are potentially dangerous to women and girls. Men are not rainbows and feather boas they are flesh and blood. Somebody who is to work or volunteer with children has to have safeguarding checks.And yet a trans-woman

Even FEMALE members of the Labour Party can't articulate what a woman is. How did we even get here? This is a stark betrayal of women and I stand with Rosie Duffield. Yes to trans rights, but not at the expense of rights for women. Pretty simple, Keir.

I will not be voting Labour in the 5th May elections because Keir Starmer is unable to say what a woman is, and if he wants my X he must respect my sex. I won't vote Labour again until this happens.

Thank you for trying to counter the tyranny of Stonewall’s oppression. Labour won’t get my vote back until they respect my sex.

As a party we need to find a way to protect sex based rights for girls and women, and campaign for further rights. We also need to find a way to way and campaign on the rights of trans people. It’s complex. Life is complex.

I whole heartedly support the declaration. We need the party leadership to be equally clear.

I shouldn't feel scared fir my job for signing this.

My own MP, Jeremy Corbyn, was deemed to be a flawed Leader, but, many think that criticism is unfair. However, the present Labour Leadership must understand that for the Party's future electoral chances the ambiguous/ambivilant postion on Trans rights must not preclude the right's of women.

I'm sick of the gaslighting and erasing of women and our language.

I am afraid to admit how I feel about sexual biology. We must have protected women’s spaces and rights. An entire male is not female.

Linked to this, although a distinct issue is the question of Lesbian and Gay erasure. This also needs to be considered by the Labour Party too, otherwise, myself and many others will choose to leave.

As a Labour Party member I am appalled at our parties stance on something so important as women's rights. I respect trans rights, but gender identity is inherently obstructive to social equality.

I have very recently left the Labour Party when I heard Kier Starmer deny womens legal rights. Trans women are NOT women. Women DONT HAVE A PENIS!!!

Labour are losing lifelong voters like me because of their refusal to protect women's sex based rights.
